David H. Dickerson
David has been practicing law in Northeast Georgia for 15 years. He is the son of an accomplished trial lawyer, and he knew from an early age the value of hard work and the responsibility of pursuing justice. David began his legal career and became a partner at one of the oldest and most well-respected law firms in Georgia, Whelchel, Dunlap, Jarrard & Walker, where he had the privilege of working alongside some of the best trial lawyers in the state. In 2015, David served as president of the local Bar Association, a group of over 200 lawyers and judges from the area.
Over the course of his career, David has gained a tremendous amount of experience and skill in handling many types of trial work. He has enjoyed a successful career of representing both plaintiffs and defendants in court, so he has a unique perspective and advantage for understanding the real strengths of his cases.
David and his family believe in being fully invested in the community they call home. David has been an active member of the local Bar Association, where he served as president in 2015. David has been a long-time member of the Board of Directors for Good News Clinics, where he currently serves as president. David has also been active in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, where he was selected to participate in Leadership Hall in 2008 and received the Silver Shovel Award in 2016. He is also an active member of the local Inn of Court, a group of lawyers and judges who meet regularly to discuss the advancement of professionalism in the legal practice.
David and his wife, along with their three children, live in Gainesville and attend Lakewood Baptist Church.
